Welcome to high school history lesson planning!  Please click on a link to see the Type of Lesson Plan you want:

Or Look at some of Our Newest Lesson Plans:

  • Having trouble teaching students about the Monroe Doctrine? This fun simulation will engage students in a way different from a lecture as students take part in a world forum and diplomacy with other nations.  When students are emotionally involved in making their simulated country prosper, the lesson will be much more successful.  Students learn the content, but also have something to hang their hat on as they attempt to decide how they would have done things if they had been in control.
  • Does the Declaration of Independence put your students to sleep?  Our lesson plan tries to move away from simply “understanding” the Declaration and the influences on it from enlightenment thinking, to an exploration of the conceptual ideas that might even trick students into learning the Jeffersonian ideals of government.
